Songs in the Desert is a collaborative conversation on hymns. Which hymns speak to us and why?

One of the ways I thought we could respond to the Church's invitation to a "holy Lent" would be to dive a bit deeper into the hymns of our faith. This year's conversation begins on Ash Wednesday and will continue every weekday in Lent.

I am so grateful to our many contributors who have signed up to bring these many reflections to you throughout the Lenten season. Each reflection will be about 3-5 minutes, so it's an easy way to mark the Lenten Season on your computer or in your podcast feed.
